Bi-annual conference Jewish and Christian Perspectives consortium: 'Memory: In search for lost time'

The bi-annual conference of the 'Jewish and Christian Perspectives' consortium will be held on the topic of 'Memory: In search for lost time'. 


The general public is invited for the opening lecture on May 9, 17.30-19.15 CET in the aula of the Catharijneconvent, Lange Nieuwstraat 38, Utrecht.

The opening lecture 'Jewishness and Israeliness in the Development of Israels sacred sites map' will be held by prof. Doron Bar of the Schechter Institute, Jerusalem. Registration by email is mandatory.

On May 10-12 a private conference with paper presentations will be held. Interested PhD students and scholars are invited to attend (limited possibilities). For inquiries and registration please use the email address below. 

About the consortium

The 2022 conference organizing committee consists of Prof. Marcel Poorthuis, Tilburg University; Dr. Leo Mock, Tilburg University; Dr. Lieve Teugels, PThU Amsterdam; Nicolien Luitwieler, student assistant, PThU Amsterdam:

JCP is a consortium of Bar Ilan University (Tel Aviv), the Schechter Institutes (Jerusalem), the Tilburg School of Theology and the Protestant Theological University. The four institutions take turns in the organization of the conferences. In 2015 it was organized by the PThU. JCP also has a series of books by Brill.
