Church and Slavery: Findings, Struggles, Steps Ahead

What has five years of research revealed about church and slavery in the Dutch colonial empire? Where did the major challenges lie, and what steps forward can we take? These questions will be explored during the three-day conference of the NWO project Church and Slavery in November 2027.
Programme
In addition to academic papers, the conference will explicitly provide space for workshops in which participants can engage in practices of dialogue and restoration.
