Bridging Gaps programme now open for applications
Bridging Gaps 2026 is now accepting applications! This three-month international exchange programme in Amsterdam is an opportunity to connect with theology students from around the world, to learn from and with each other. Participants will receive a scholarship that covers all necessary costs. Students from Asia, Africa, Latin America, Middle-East, or Eastern Europe are invited to apply.
What is Bridging Gaps?
Bridging Gaps 2026 will take place from September to November 2026. It is an initiative of the Centre for Contextual Biblical Interpretation (CCBI ) and a cooperation of the School of Religion and Theology of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (FRT, VU Amsterdam) and the Protestant Theological University (PThU). Students will be staying in Amsterdam and will be participating in personal research and lectures with students from all around the world. Aside from the study, they will also participate in Dutch church life, society and culture.
