Hope

Erik Olsman's research is concentrated around the theme of 'Hope'. The central question is what role the notion of 'hope' plays within the field of Spiritual Care. And specifically what 'hope' means for people with psychological, physical, mental or other disabilities.

Background

Before joining PThU as associate professor in 2020, Olsman (1980) worked as a spiritual carer in psychiatry and palliative care. He also worked as a medical ethicist in academic hospitals.
