Defense PhD thesis by Gied ten Berge
On June 12, 2020, sociologist and theologian Gied ten Berge will defend his PhD thesis 'Pelgrimeren met een missie' at Tilburg School of Catholic Theology. The defense of his study, on pilgrimage to 'the Land' will be live-streamed.

Call for articles: Sacramentality/sacraments in times of Corona
The possibility or impossibility of a digital celebration of the sacraments, more specifically of Holy Supper, in times of Corona provokes much discussion. The editor of the Yearbook for Ritual and Liturgical Studies invites you to submit your article on this topic for a special Corona-issue of the Yearbook later this year.

Cancelled: Defense PhD thesis by Jasper Bosman
On March 20, 2020, Jasper Bosman was to defend his PhD thesis 'Celebrating the Lord's Supper in the Netherlands ' at Kampen Theological University. As a result of measures taken to prevent further spread of the Corona virus, this defense has been postponed to a later date.

NSRL 22 to be published after Jasper Bosman's defense of his PhD thesis
The PhD thesis of Jasper Bosman, entitled 'Celebrating the Lord’s Supper in the Netherlands' will soon be published as volume 22 in the series Netherlands Studies in Ritual and Liturgy. In this thesis, Bosman seeks to fill the void that little empirical research has been conducted on the Lord’s Supper in the Reformed tradition, and especially within the Dutch context.
