On March 20, 2020, Jasper Bosman was to defend his PhD thesis 'Celebrating the Lord's Supper in the Netherlands ' at Kampen Theological University. As a result of measures taken to prevent further spread of the Corona virus, this defense has been postponed to a later date.

The PhD thesis of Jasper Bosman, entitled 'Celebrating the Lord’s Supper in the Netherlands' will soon be published as volume 22 in the series Netherlands Studies in Ritual and Liturgy. In this thesis, Bosman seeks to fill the void that little empirical research has been conducted on the Lord’s Supper in the Reformed tradition, and especially within the Dutch context.
