Prof. Rick Benjamins lecturing in Oslo

In the first week of October, prof. Rick Benjamins visited the MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society in Oslo. His visit is part of the Erasmus + project, and at the invitation of Jan-Olav Hendriksen, who stayed for a while in Amsterdam as a ‘visiting professor’ at the PThU, two years back.

Benjamins was in Oslo to give lectures in the field of philosophy of religion. This is, together with ethics, dogmatics, and missiology, part of one integrated course in systematic theology. The topics of his lectures for the master students were ‘What is a philosophy of religion?’, ‘The existence of God’, ‘God and evil’ and ‘Religion critique’.
